Maghe Poornima Festival
Maghe poornima festival is the full moon of (February) concludes the month long fasting of Swasthani and the recital of Swosthani Mahatmya, a sacred religious text. Hindu women keep vigil throughout the night; on the morrow they take bath in river confluence and worship the symbols of sacred phallus, Shiva Linga.
