This small but famous three story temple is situated at an altitude of 12,460 ft. about 110km north of Pokhara. The temple is to the north of Jomsom and JOmsom is airlinked with Pokhara, Kathmandu, Bhairahawa, so it is not difficult to get there.

The temple contains the image of Jwala Mai (the goddess of flame). There is a monastery near in the courtyard. The temple is remarkable as it shows harmonious relationship between the Hindus and the Buddhist religion. Devotees of both religions congregate here to pay homage to the deity.
